Product details

The Pentair 78310600 is a junction box with a polymer cover on a brass base, built in the 3/4 inch by 3/4 inch by 3/4 inch hub configuration.

Brass base, poly cover

The combination is deliberate. Brass holds up at a pool where a plain steel box would not, and a polymer cover means the part that is handled and exposed does not corrode shut. It is the arrangement used on pool junction boxes for that reason.
