Product details

Pentair 630017Z is the sealing ring with gasket for the QuickNiche pool light niche, in white. It is the genuine Pentair part and it arrives as ring and gasket together.

What it seals

The seal ring closes the face of the niche where it meets the pool wall. That joint is what keeps water where it belongs and keeps the niche assembly tight, so a hardened or torn gasket at this point is not a cosmetic issue.

Working on a niche

Gaskets take a permanent set once they have been clamped in place for a few seasons. Reusing one that has been out is a common source of callbacks. If the niche is coming apart for any reason, plan on a new seal ring and gasket going back in.
