The J&J Electronics ColorSplash XG-W is a color changing LED fixture for in ground pools and spas. This version, model LPL-F2CW-120-50-P, runs on 120 volts, is rated as equivalent to a 500W light and comes with a 50 ft cord.

Color and white in one fixture

The XG-W carries a PureWhite output alongside its color changing LEDs. That matters in practice because a plain RGB fixture has to blend red, green and blue to approximate white, which tends to read cool or slightly off. With a dedicated white available, one fixture handles both an ordinary evening swim and a color scene.

Five colors and seven shows

Five solid colors and seven preset light shows are built in, so a pool can sit on a steady color all season or run through a sequence when you want it. Nothing extra has to be added to the equipment pad for the shows to work.

Installation

The 50 ft cord reaches the junction box on most in ground pools without a splice, and the fixture runs on standard 120 volt line power.
