The J&J Electronics ColorSplash XG-W is an in ground LED pool and spa fixture that runs at 12 volts and comes with a 100 foot cord. This is part 23008, model LPL-F2CW-12-100-P, in the polished finish.

White plus color

The W in XG-W is the point of the fixture. Alongside the color output, it offers PureWhite, so a pool can be lit conventionally for swimming and then switched to color for an evening. There are five solid colors and seven light shows in the range.

Voltage and cord

This is the 12 volt version, so it needs a pool light transformer. The 100 foot cord is sized to reach the equipment pad from most niche positions without a splice, which matters because a wet splice is the usual source of trouble on a pool light run.

Running cost

LED fixtures draw far less than the incandescent lights they replace, so the change shows up on the power bill immediately rather than paying back over years.
