Product details

The Intermatic P1403ME is a 24 hour programmable electronic controller for 1 or 2 speed pool pumps, supplied as the mechanism only. It carries four circuits in total: the pump control plus an additional circuit for auxiliary equipment.

Seasonal adjustment

The feature the model is named for. A pool needs a long filter run in July and a short one in November, and most owners set one schedule in spring and forget it. Seasonal adjust lengthens the run through the peak swimming months and shortens it as the season turns, which keeps the water right and keeps the power bill from carrying summer hours into winter.

Two speed and programming

Full two speed control means each speed gets its own daily schedule: efficient low speed operation for general circulation across the year, with high speed events programmed where you want them. Setup runs on screen, voltage adjusts automatically, and a supercapacitor holds the program for more than 100 hours if power is lost.

Installation

This is the mechanism, not a complete timer in a box. It snaps into most Intermatic enclosures, so it suits a replacement where the existing enclosure and wiring are sound. Wiring a 30A, 3HP, 120/240V pump circuit is work for a qualified electrician.
