Product details

The Intermatic P1353ME is a programmable digital control timer mechanism that runs up to three circuits, with up to nine on and off events a day. It accepts 120, 208 or 240 VAC.

What it controls

Seven pre-programmed modes cover the common equipment pad arrangements, from a single speed pump to two speed pump and cleaner pump combinations. Programmed modes that include auxiliaries will control pumps up to 3 HP as well as underwater, landscape and fountain lighting. The timing and the protection that filter pump and cleaner pump combinations and two speed pumps require is already integrated into the software, so you are choosing a mode rather than building the interlocks yourself.

Working around the schedule

Countdown and override let you interrupt a cycle when the pool or spa needs service and then pick the schedule back up, rather than reprogramming the clock every time somebody vacuums.

Fitting it

This is the mechanism only. It installs into almost any Intermatic enclosure, so in most cases the existing box on the wall stays and only the mechanism is changed. Confirm the fit against your enclosure, and have the wiring done by a qualified electrician.
