Product details

The Intermatic T104P3 is a 24-hour mechanical time switch with DPST contacts, rated for 208 to 277 volts and supplied in a Type 3R plastic enclosure.

How it runs a schedule

The dial turns once a day and carries trippers that throw the switch as they come around. It handles up to 12 on and off operations in a day, with one hour as the shortest period it can hold. One on tripper and one off tripper come in the box, which covers the usual single run a day; more trippers can be added for extra cycles.

Wiring and mounting

The terminals are the teeter type, so more than one load can land on a terminal. The Type 3R plastic case means it can be mounted outdoors at the equipment pad without a separate enclosure.

What it drives

Intermatic lists it for booster pumps, lighting, hydro chlorinators, fans, air conditioning, music and signal systems, and heat pumps, which is why it turns up on commercial and industrial jobs as often as residential ones.
