The Intermatic PB913N84 is a 24 hour panel mount timer mechanism with mounting ears, supplied with four trippers for two on and off cycles a day. It switches SPST on 120 volts at 60 Hz and includes manual override.
What it controls
Timers like this run filter pumps, booster pumps, cleaners, lights, fountains, heating and sprinkler circuits. You set the trippers on the dial for the hours you want the load running, and the mechanism does the rest. The manual override matters more than it sounds: it lets you run the pump for an extra hour after a party without pulling the trippers off the dial and forgetting to put them back.
Fitting it
This is the mechanism rather than a finished enclosure. The ears give you three ways to mount it, flush into a round opening, raised in a rectangular opening, or on a base, so it drops into most panels. Quick connect terminals take push on spades, which is quicker than landing wires under screws.
