Product details

The Intermatic P1101 is an outdoor mechanical plug-in timer with its own weather enclosure. There is nothing to wire: it plugs into an existing outlet, and whatever you want on a schedule plugs into the timer.

Built for portable pools and spas

Intermatic designed this one specifically around the filter pump of a portable pool or spa. Those pumps rarely have a dedicated time clock, so they either run around the clock or get switched by hand. A mechanical timer sets a daily on and off window and repeats it without any further thought.

Ratings

The timer is rated 15 amp, 1800 W for resistive or tungsten loads, and for a 1 HP air conditioner motor load at 15 FLA and 90 LRA. It uses a 5-15 plug configuration. Check the nameplate on your pump against those numbers before you buy.

Other uses

It is not limited to pool duty. The same timer is used on outdoor decorations, signs, lights, fans, air conditioners and engine block heaters, indoors or outdoors.
