Product details
The Pentair SunTouch 520859 is a single body control system for a pool and spa that share one filtration system. It replaces the mechanical time clock with a power center that runs the pump, heater and up to four feature circuits on schedules, with manual override when you want the spa on now.
What it controls
Each circuit can hold 4 operating schedules, up to 6 per system, so filtration, cleaner, lights and solar can each run on their own timing. It works with gas or electric heaters, heat pumps and solar, and holds temperature in 1 degree steps. It also supports one IntelliFlo pump and the IntelliChlor salt chlorine generator, so pump speed and chlorine output live in the same control.
Why bother
Scheduling lets you run the pump during off peak electrical rates and stop paying for hours you do not need. Heating the spa on demand instead of leaving it up to temperature is the other saving.
In the box
One power center, one 20 ft water temperature sensor, one 40 in. air temperature sensor and three relays.

Can it run a variable speed pump and a salt system?
Yes. It supports one IntelliFlo pump and the IntelliChlor salt chlorine generator.
How many schedules can I set?
Each circuit can hold 4 operating schedules, with a maximum of 6 schedules across the system. Four feature circuits are available for things like a cleaner, lights or solar.
