Pentair EasyTouch 8SC Pool/Spa Combo with IC40 Salt Cell, Transformer, and 2 Actuators

The Pentair EasyTouch 8SC, part EC-520545, is a complete automation package for a pool and spa that share one set of equipment. The load center brings the pump, heater, lights and valves under one control, and the included IC40 salt cell handles chlorination for pools up to 40,000 gallons.

What is in the package

The 8SC load center with 8 feature relays, 3 valve outputs and an 8 position breaker panel, two valve actuators, two temperature sensors, the IC40 chlorine generator cell and the local control at the load center. An indoor control is not included and is bought separately, as are any wired or wireless remotes.

Everyday operation

Every function is controlled with one-button access from the self-contained load center. Equipment schedules are fully programmable, and they can be reprogrammed as pool and spa use changes through the year or when equipment is added or swapped.

Service

Onboard diagnostics run a self test on specific functions, and a diagnostic screen reports failures so a technician can go straight to the problem instead of hunting for it.
