Product details

The Aladdin 279-40 is a stainless steel hose clamp sized for hoses measuring 2-1/16 in through 3 in. It is a general purpose clamp for pool and spa plumbing.

Why stainless

Equipment pads stay wet and chlorinated water is hard on plated hardware. A stainless clamp keeps its adjustment and its strength far longer than a clamp that has started to rust, and a rusted clamp on a suction line is a common cause of a pump that will not hold prime.

Where it is used

Anywhere a flexible hose meets a fitting: pump and filter connections, cleaner and vacuum lines, above ground plumbing. Check the size range against the outside diameter of the hose you are clamping before ordering.
