The Praher 150-100 is a 1-1/2 inch union with slip sockets on both ends, in white, rated to 50 PSI.

What a union buys you

Every piece of equipment on the pad eventually has to come out. A union in the pipe on each side means that is a matter of loosening a collar, not cutting and regluing plumbing. Fitting them at the pump, the filter and the heater turns a half day job into a short one, and it pays for itself the first time something needs service.

Fitting notes

Both ends are sockets, so the union glues directly onto 1-1/2 inch pipe. Take note of the 50 PSI rating and confirm where you are putting it: normal residential circulation is comfortably inside that, but a system running high head pressure deserves a second look before this goes on the pressure side.
