Product details

The CMP 21063-750-000 is a 3/4 in. union with a male thread on one end and a slip socket on the other. It is the fitting most often used when plumbing a booster pump.

Why it matters

A booster pump comes off the pad more often than most equipment: for service, for storage and for winterizing. Plumbed with unions, that is a two minute job with a wrench. Plumbed solid, it means cutting the pipe and gluing it back every single time.

Fitting it

The male thread goes into the pump port and the slip socket glues to 3/4 in. pipe. Check the port sizes on your own pump before ordering, and look at whether the install needs a union on both the suction and the discharge side.

What are the two ends?
