Product details

The AquaStar JO103 is a light gray flush retrofit eyeball for pool return fittings. It threads into 1-1/2 inch FPT plumbing and seats flush inside an existing flush mount fitting.

Why retrofit instead of replace

Replacing a return fitting normally means chipping the old one out of the pool wall, which is slow, messy and easy to get wrong. This part goes inside the fitting that is already there, so a stained or discolored return can be brought back to a clean light gray finish without touching the shell.

What is in the kit

The kit is complete: a wrench, a retrofit nut, a retrofit socket, a 1/2 inch eyeball and a 1 inch eyeball. The two eyeball sizes give you a choice of return flow, a 1/2 inch for a tighter, faster stream and a 1 inch for a wider, gentler one. The fitting is made in the USA.

Do I have to break out my old return fitting?
No. The flush retrofit eyeball fits flush inside an existing flush mount fitting, which is the point of the design. It saves chipping the old fitting out of the pool wall.
