Why retrofit instead of replace
Replacing a return fitting normally means chipping the old one out of the pool wall, which is slow, messy and easy to get wrong. This part goes inside the fitting that is already there, so a stained or discolored return can be brought back to a clean light gray finish without touching the shell.
