The Praher OV2-2010 is a two port CPVC valve with slip socket connections, 2" inside diameter and 2.5" outside diameter. Praher describes it as a 2-way diverter valve, so treat the two descriptions as the same body.
Built for a sun exposed equipment pad
The lid is a high heat design made not to warp in direct sun, which is where most pool valves fail first. Underneath, the shaft runs in a double o-ring seal instead of a single ring, and the rotor seal is permanently lubricated and rated to exceed the 3000 dry cycle requirement, meaning it survives being cycled dry far longer than a valve that depends on water for lubrication.
Chemistry
The body is a chlorine, acid and ozone resistant construction, so it stands up to sanitizer and to ozone injected upstream, both of which age ordinary plastics.
