Jandy NeverLube Valve 3 Port, 2" x 2-1/2"

The Jandy 4717 is a three port NeverLube diverter valve with 2 in. by 2-1/2 in. ports, the larger of the two common Jandy sizes. Each port accepts 2 in. pipe inside the socket or 2-1/2 in. pipe outside it, so the same valve works on either plumbing size and the oversized body suits large equipment such as the Pro Series 3 HP Stealth pump.

No maintenance

The valve is named for what it does not need. There is no lubrication schedule and no seals to grease; the diverter turns freely for the life of the valve. The CPVC body handles the chemical and temperature swings of a pool pad without softening or cracking.

Flow and control

It is rated to 170 GPM with minimal head loss, enough for spa jets and water features that need a lot of water. An adjustable stop lets you limit handle travel so the valve can hold a partial position and split flow between the two outlets. Placards for labeling the handle position are in the box.

Before you order

Check that you need the 3 port valve. The two way version and the 1-1/2 in. by 2 in. size are separate part numbers, and a 24 V actuator can be added if you want the valve on automation.
