Product details

The Pentair 263037 is a three port diverter valve in the 1-1/2 inch by 2 inch size, molded in PVC. Pentair also carries it under the Compool name as a 3 way diverter valve.

How it is used

A diverter valve is what lets one pump feed two destinations. The handle turns to send flow to one port, to the other, or to a position between the two so both get a share. On a typical pad that is pool and spa, or two returns, or a suction line pair.

Before you order

Diverter valves come in more than one size, and the body has to match the pipe already in the ground. This is the 1-1/2 inch by 2 inch part. Read the size off the old valve body, or measure the pipe, before committing.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

What does a three port diverter valve do?
It has one inlet and two outlets, so the handle lets you send flow one way, the other way, or split it between both.
What size pipe is this for?
It is the 1-1/2 inch by 2 inch valve. Check the size stamped on the valve you are replacing before you order.
Is this the same as a Compool valve?
Yes. Pentair also lists this valve as the Compool 3 way diverter valve, part 263037.
Is there a larger version?
Pentair makes the same style valve in a 2 inch by 2-1/2 inch size, which is a separate part number.
