Product details

The Hayward PSV2SDGR is a 2-way diverter valve from the PSV Series, built in PVC with ports sized 1-1/2 inch by 2 inch. It is the genuine Hayward part.

Where a 2-way valve goes

Two way valves are what you reach for when a single line needs to be opened, closed or switched: isolating the pump so a filter can be opened without draining the whole system, shutting a spa return, or picking between two suction points. Because it is a diverter rather than a simple ball valve, the handle position tells you at a glance which way the water is going.

Sizing and fitting

The dual sized sockets accept 1-1/2 inch or 2 inch pipe, which covers most residential plumbing without an adapter. The body is PVC and solvent welds into the run like any other fitting, so plan the handle orientation before gluing, since there is no adjusting it afterward.
