The Jandy R0522900 is the universal half union kit, supplied as a set of one. It is the genuine Jandy part, the same half union fitted to the equipment at the factory.

What it fits

Jandy uses this half union across a wide slice of the Pro Series line: the CL, CS, CV, DEL and DEV filters, and the JXi heaters. That makes it a useful part to recognize, because one kit answers a leak on several different pieces of equipment in the same pad.

When to replace it

A union that keeps weeping after it has been tightened is telling you the plastic has failed. Hairline cracks around the collar and threads that have been pulled out of round both let water past no matter how hard the nut is turned. Fitting a new half restores a joint you can break again later without cutting pipe.

Order one kit per connection you plan to replace.
