The Pentair 356163Z is the drive and drive hardware kit for the 3 HP IntelliFlo3 pool pump. It is the genuine Pentair replacement, supplied with the hardware needed to mount it.

What the drive does

On a variable speed pump the drive is the control end. It sets the speed, holds the schedule and manages the motor. When a pump will not power up, will not stay at a programmed speed, or reports drive faults, the drive is usually the part at fault rather than the wet end.
