Global sorts its lifts into series, and the series sets the anchor. The Commercial C-375 and C-450 sit on a tri point anchor and can come with a portable kit; the Legend L-325 and L-350 use a four point or drop in anchor; the Proformance P-375, Superior S-350 and SXR use a sleeve. The Rotational R-350MTR, R-375, R-450A and R-450R turn a full circle, with the R-450A for above ground walls and the R-450R reaching over gutters. The Home series HR-350 is the backyard model.

Global's Commercial, Legend, Superior, Proformance and Rotational lifts share one TiMotion 24 V pack, so one spare serves a mixed fleet. Part numbers ending in NA, and the C375PK, ship without the anchor; the rest name the anchor they include, from tri point and drop in to sleeve and round. The Home series HR-350 comes with a standard or sling seat, and a wood deck plate is made for the Home lifts.

What is the difference between Global's Commercial, Legend and Superior lifts?

Capacity and anchor. The Commercial series lifts 375 or 450 lb on a tri point anchor and is the one offered with a portable kit. The Legend series lifts 325 or 350 lb on a four point or drop in anchor and is sold for public and private pools alike. The Superior S-350 and its extended reach SXR use a sleeve anchor. All three share Global's TiMotion 24 V battery.

Which Global pool lift reaches over a gutter?

The R-450R extends 35 in. out over a gutter, lifts 450 lb and turns a full circle. For a narrower bench or gutter, the SXR clears one as wide as 20 in. and lifts 350 lb. Both are sold with or without the anchor, and the R-450R takes Global's square sleeve, the same anchor as the R-450A, Superior and Proformance lifts.

Does Global make a pool lift for a home pool?

Yes, the Home series. The HR-350 is a 350 lb lift that rotates both ways, offered with a standard seat or a sling seat and with a round anchor or without one, and Global makes a wood deck anchor plate for the Home lifts. Many homeowners also choose the Legend series, which Global sells for private pools as well as public ones.

Can a Global C-375 come off the deck when the pool closes?

Yes, in its portable version. The portable kit bolts the lift to its tri point or drop in anchor while the pool is open, which is how a portable lift meets the ADA's fixed rule, and lets it come off for storage; Global puts the moving weight under 150 lb. The kit versions of the C-375 and C-450 include both the anchor and the kit, and the C375PK is the kit without an anchor.
