The Global Pool Products R-450R R450RNA is a 450 lb battery powered ADA compliant extended reach pool lift that mounts on a deck anchor, sold separately.

Where a gutter or wide coping keeps a standard lift from placing the user in the water, the R-450R is the model built for the job. It extends up to 35 in. over a gutter, and from deck height it gets past an obstacle up to 18 in. tall. It belongs to the manufacturer's Rotational Series, works at pools and spas, and includes armrests, a footrest and a safety seat belt.

Fit and anchor

The "NA" at the end of the part number means the lift comes without an anchor. The manufacturer lists the Square Sleeve Anchor GLCSA for the R-450R, so add that or another compatible anchor when ordering. A sleeve anchor system is the option the manufacturer names for this series.

Power and build

The lift uses a 24 V rechargeable battery system with user friendly controls, and the battery charging station is included. The frame is stainless steel with a UV resistant powder coat finish, with a lifetime limited warranty on the metal parts that leaves out the powder coat. The manufacturer lists the actuator and controls at 2 years, then prorated, and the battery at 1 year.

The anchor is a separate purchase, since this part number does not include one. The manufacturer's deck form, a deck profile of your pool, confirms the lift reaches the water before it ships.
