The S.R. Smith PAL2 is a portable, free standing pool lift rated to 300 lbs. It carries the features of the original PAL with a modernized look and a durable matte finish, and it is third-party tested and verified as ADA compliant.
How it works
A 24 volt rechargeable battery powers the lift, so no power drop is needed at the lift itself. The LiftOperator Intelligent Control sits on the mast and the user or attendant runs the lift from a waterproof hand control. A footrest and seatbelt assembly are part of the standard package, and 240 degrees of rotation gives room to swing the seat well clear of the coping for the transfer.
Portable, or anchored
The PAL2 is light enough for one person to move, so it can be rolled out for a session and stored away after. The PAL Secure-It Kit ships with it, so the same lift can be fixed to the deck where a fixed installation is preferred.
Built to stay outside
The frame is powder-coated stainless steel and aluminum, chosen for a deck that is permanently wet and chlorinated. Pool lifts are non-returnable once delivered, so confirm the deck layout and clearance before ordering.
