CMI 3' x 100' Equipotential Bonding Grid Kit

The CMI EB3100 is an equipotential bonding grid kit, 3 feet wide by 100 feet long, giving 300 square feet of coverage for the perimeter band around a pool. It is installed under the deck before the concrete goes down, and tied into the bonding system that connects the pool shell, the equipment and the metal around the pool.

Why it matters

Equipotential bonding is what keeps a swimmer from becoming the path between two objects at different voltages. The grid under the deck, the water and the metal fixtures are all connected so that they rise and fall together, and there is nothing to bridge. It is a code requirement on new pools and on deck replacements, and it has to go in at the construction stage.

Ordering

Measure the perimeter band you need to cover and order enough kits to reach it. Each EB3100 covers 300 square feet.
