Quick overview

  • South Carolina approved Carries the approval for the state of South Carolina, which is what an inspector is looking for.
  • 24 by 36 inches Full size posted signage, readable from across a deck.
  • Pool rules wording The posted rules panel, not a depth marker or a single warning sign.
  • For inspected pools Public and commercial pools are required to post rules, and the sign has to be the approved version.
  • Poolstyle PS238 The specific part number to quote if a health department asks what is posted.
  • Check your state Approved wording differs state to state, so a South Carolina sign is not a general purpose substitute.

Product details

The Poolstyle PS238 is a pool rules sign measuring 24 by 36 inches, approved for the state of South Carolina.

Why the approval matters

Posted rules at a public or commercial pool are not free text. States publish the wording they expect to see, and an inspector checks the sign against it. That is the difference between a sign that reads well and a sign that passes, and it is why an approved version is worth ordering rather than printing something locally.

Placement

At this size the sign is meant to be mounted where every swimmer passes it, typically at the gate or on the fence facing the deck. Confirm your own state and local requirements before ordering, since approval is state specific and this one is listed for South Carolina.
