The Spectrum Aquatics Traveler BP500 163330 is a 500 lb battery powered ADA compliant pool lift that anchors to the deck, with the anchor bought separately.

The Traveler is the highest capacity battery lift in the Spectrum range, aimed at commercial and therapy pools. The seat is raised and rotated under power through 360 degrees, and it can accommodate a setback of 6 to 33 in. with a water draft up to 12 in. A wireless handset and two watertight remote controls let a user operate it from the deck or from the water.

Power and comfort

A 24 V battery and charger are included, and Spectrum rates the battery at 90 lifts per charge. The seat has lumbar support and a padded headrest, the footrest swings out and adjusts, the armrests flip up with a non-slip grip, and there is a seat belt and a stabilizer bar for transfers. The frame is electropolished 304L stainless steel with a Spectra Shield coating, 316L is optional, and powder coating is available.

Warranty and accessories

Spectrum applies its standard five year limited warranty on the stainless frame and two years on parts. A transport cart, spine board attachment and wheelchair attachment are listed for the lift.

The anchor is a separate purchase, and the Spectrum setback and water draft guide should be checked against your pool before the lift ships.

Does the Traveler BP500 include the anchor?
Treat the anchor as a separate purchase. Spectrum lists a retrofit anchor, 27400-00, for this lift, and the lift is designed to go into existing concrete decks and anchors.
