What it powers

The Lift-Operator system runs the whole lift cycle off battery power, which is what lets these lifts sit at the deck edge with no mains connection at the water. Everything the user experiences, the seat travel, the rotation and the hold under load, depends on that pack still delivering full voltage. Packs age whether or not the lift gets used, so a lift that has sat over a closed season often needs one.
