The S.R. Smith 100-2000 is the old style Lift-Operator rechargeable battery for PAL, Splash and aXs pool lifts purchased before 2011.

Old style or new style

S.R. Smith sold two generations of this battery. The quick test is on the control box: a red emergency stop button means the lift takes the newer pack, and no button means it takes this older one. Buying the wrong generation is the usual mistake, so look at the box before you order.

When it needs replacing

The lift runs entirely from this battery at the deck, so a tired pack shows up as a lift that stops partway through a cycle, runs slowly, or will not move even after a full charge. This listing is the battery alone. The charger is a separate part, so check whether it is also due.

California installations need the CEC compliant BC version of the battery, charger and control box, which are not interchangeable with the standard parts.

How do I know if my lift needs the 100-2000 old style battery?
Check the control box. A red emergency stop button means your lift takes the newer pack, while a box with no such button takes this older style.
Is this the same battery as the 1001495?
No. The 1001495 is the newer style, used on lifts with the LiftOperator Intelligent Control. The 100-2000 is the older pack for earlier lifts.
How can I tell the battery is worn out?
A lift that stops partway, moves slowly, or will not raise the seat even after a full charge points to an aged pack.
Does the 100-2000 include a charger?
No. It is the battery only, and the charger is a separate S.R. Smith part.
