Product details

The S.R. Smith 1001601 is the two button hand control for the ML300 and multiLift pool lifts.

How it connects

On S.R. Smith lifts with the LiftOperator control box, the hand control plugs into the largest connector on the bottom of the box. The touchpad arrows on the box do the same job, so the lift can still be run if the hand control is out of reach or fails.

Finding the fault

The S.R. Smith troubleshooting steps check the hand control plug for damaged pins and the cable for damage first. If the lift moves from the control box buttons but not from the hand control, the hand control is the likely problem.

Two button or four

This is the two button version. The 4 button hand control named in the aXs2 parts list is a different part, 1001600.

Which lifts is the 1001601 for?

It is named for the ML300 and the multiLift. The 4 button hand control 1001600 is the one in the aXs2 parts list.

What if the hand control stops working?

The S.R. Smith manuals say the touchpad arrows on the control box can run the lift while the hand control is out of reach or has failed. If the lift works from the box but not the hand control, the hand control is the likely fault.
