The Merlin Industries 30125 is the King Staircase, the large blue granite entry step system for above ground pools. Merlin also lists it as the Aqua Staircase, so the two names describe the same product.
Getting in and out
Above ground pools are awkward to enter over a wall, and a narrow ladder makes it worse for anyone unsteady on their feet. A full staircase with a handrail on each side turns that climb into a set of stairs. The blue granite color keeps it from looking like a bolted on afterthought.
What it is rated for
Merlin lists a 700 lb weight limit, which covers more than one person on the steps at once. It stands 42.5 inches high and is 44 inches deep, and it is designed to fit most above ground pools.
Before you order
Check your deck height and the space you have behind the pool wall for the 44 inch depth. This is the large King size; the same blue granite step is also made in a smaller version if the King will not fit the site.
