The S.R. Smith Helix2 is the next generation of the Helix slide, an all in one 360 degree ride with a deeper flume than the model it replaces. This is the Granite color.
The ride
The flume takes a full turn before it delivers into the pool, and a patented water feature with improved delivery keeps the surface wet. The fountain and the flume can run together or independently, so the feature can be left on when nobody is sliding.
Getting up it
The stairway is enclosed and the ladder is integrated into the body, which is a real difference on a slide used by children. The whole shell is rotomolded, a construction that holds its shape in sun and cold and takes the flex a slide sees every ride. Sliders up to 250 pounds, backed by a 3 year warranty.
Ordering
Slides are a special order item and typically take 4 to 6 weeks to ship direct from the manufacturer. Because of that they cannot be returned once shipped, so confirm deck space, water depth and the local code for slide placement before you order.
