The S.R. Smith Helix2 in taupe, part 640-209-58110, is the next generation of the Helix slide. It is an all in one 360 degree adventure ride built around a full turn flume that is deeper than the one on the model it replaces.

The water features

Along with the flume, the Helix2 carries a patented water feature with improved delivery. The fountain and the flume can run together or separately, so the slide keeps doing something for the pool even when nobody is riding it.

Build and safety

The body is rotomolded, which is where the durability and the finished look both come from. The stairs are enclosed and the ladder is integrated into the structure. S.R. Smith rates the slide for sliders up to 250 pounds and backs it with a 3 year warranty.
