The Mont Alpi MAi805 is a 44 inch stainless steel outdoor kitchen island built around six tubular high efficiency burners, a standalone infrared side burner and a height adjustable ceramic infrared rear burner. Together they produce 115,000 BTU of heat output.
The cooking surface
The grilling area measures 38 inches by 18 inches, 990 square inches in total, laid out under 8mm stainless steel cooking grids with a stainless steel warming rack above. The double lined hood holds heat and carries a temperature gauge, and two cooking surface lights let you see the food after dark. The control knobs light blue when a burner is off and red when it is on.
The island
Granite countertops sit either side of the grill and wipe down easily, with storage cabinets and drawers below and a bottle opener on the side. Gliding castor wheels let the unit be repositioned without dragging it, and a full front pull out grease tray keeps cleaning off the ground. Ignition is electronic.
The grill arrives fully assembled, with modular attachment required if you are joining it to other units. It is set up for propane out of the box and converts to natural gas in minutes with the separate Mont Alpi conversion kit. A heavy duty rotisserie kit, a charcoal tray and a griddle are available as accessories.
