⌄The S.R. Smith Challenge is a dual post, deck mounted basketball game for residential pools. The frame is a continuous piece of stainless steel, which keeps installation simple: set the two legs into deck anchors spaced 16 in. on center and the game is up.
Built for pool water
The regulation rim is SealedSteel vinyl coated and salt friendly, so it shrugs off splash and harsh pool chemistry. The backboard is clear polycarbonate on marine grade support arms, and the legs are stainless steel. A basketball with needle is included.
Placement
The legs mount with a 12 in. setback, which is the distance from the pool edge to where the supports meet the deck. Anchors and escutcheons are sold separately, and existing Swim N' Dunk anchors will accept the Challenge.
Storage
When the season ends, lift the game out of its anchors and fit optional anchor caps for a flush deck.
