The Splash and Shoot is Dunn-Rite free standing pool basketball set, built around a one piece 2 3/8 inch powder coated aluminum post and an 18 inch vinyl coated stainless steel rim. This is the stainless rim version, part B600 STAINLESS.
Height and reach
The post telescopes, so the rim can sit anywhere up to 53 inches above the deck in infinite increments. That range covers small children through adults without swapping parts, and the 20 inch overhang puts the hoop out over the water rather than over the coping.
The base
The base is rotational molded, 40 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 10 inches tall, and holds 25 gallons of water. Filled, it weighs 200 lb, which is what keeps the post upright under a hard rebound. A brass anchor and tightening wedge lock the post into it.
The set includes the post, the reinforced 29 inch by 43 inch silkscreened backboard, the RIM375 stainless rim with its white all weather net, a color matching 9 inch ball and all stainless steel hardware. Some assembly is required. It is made in Indiana.
