This is the GLI 99-20-9100003 brass safety cover anchor, made to be set into a concrete pool deck. It is also listed under the SuperPro name.
How the anchor works
Safety cover anchors live in the deck permanently. The strap on the cover hooks into the anchor, tension is set with the installation tool, and at the end of the season the anchor screws down flush so nobody catches a foot on it. That means the anchor spends its whole life in wet concrete, which is why brass is the material used.
Check before you order
This is the concrete deck version. A wood deck takes a different brass anchor assembly. The tools used to set anchors and tamp them into place are separate items.
