The FeherGuard FG-B-HAN is the replacement handle for B Model solar reels, covering the FG1B and the FG7B Premium. It is the genuine FeherGuard Products part.

Why the handle goes first

A solar reel is mostly tube and frame, and neither takes much punishment. The handle takes all of it. Every time the cover is rolled on or off, the twisting load runs through that one component, and it is also the part that gets knocked when the reel is moved or stored. Reels commonly outlive several handles.

Getting the reel working again

Replacing the handle puts the reel back to a job one person can do. Confirm you have a B Model reel before ordering, since the handle is specific to that range.

Why does the handle fail before the rest of the reel?
