The FeherGuard FG-7B is the premium reel end kit for above ground pools. It supplies the end hardware for a solar blanket reel, and the tube is bought separately so you can match the length and finish to your pool.
What makes it the premium kit
The ends run on wide track bearings, which is the difference between a reel that turns with one hand and one that binds under a wet blanket. There is a handle at each end, so the cover can be rolled from whichever side of the pool you happen to be on. The ends are built to lift off and swing away, so the reel does not sit over the water when the pool is in use.
Before you order
Check your tube against the range of tube sizes and finishes this kit accepts, and note that 3 inch tube plugs are supplied with the complete hardware. The kit is recommended for solar blankets up to 15 mil. Additional cones are available separately if you want to park the rolled blanket off the pool.
