The FeherGuard FG-FASKIT is the tube and blanket fastening kit for above ground solar cover reel systems. It contains 10 sets of tube clips and blanket fasteners and ten 26 in. straps.

What it solves

A solar blanket has to be tied to the reel tube in enough places, and evenly, or it rolls up crooked and drags itself off the tube. This kit supplies ten attachment points, which is what it takes to space the fasteners across the width of a cover properly.

What is in the box

Ten sets of tube clips and blanket fasteners, and ten straps at 26 in. each. Buy it to set up a new reel, or to replace fasteners and straps that have gone brittle in the sun on an existing one.

What comes in the kit?

Which reel is it for?
The above ground solar cover reel system.
What do the parts actually do?
The clips grip the reel tube and the fasteners hold the solar blanket to them. The straps tie the two together, so the blanket rolls onto the tube evenly instead of dragging off to one side.
Are the straps sold separately too?
FeherGuard sells strapping on its own as well, but this kit already includes ten 26 in. straps along with the fasteners.
