The FeherGuard FG-BPS is a blue protective sheet, 3-1/2 ft wide and 24 ft long, made to sit over a solar blanket once the blanket has been rolled up.
What it is for
Solar blankets do not only wear out in the water. A blanket rolled up on the reel takes direct sun for most of the day, and that is where a great deal of its life goes. This sheet contains UV inhibitors, so the sun works on the sheet instead.
How it is used
Roll the blanket up as normal, then lay the sheet over the rolled blanket. It stays there until the blanket goes back on the water.
Sizing
The roll is 3-1/2 ft by 24 ft. Measure the rolled blanket on your reel to confirm it will be covered end to end.
