The S.R. Smith R-Series lounger is an in-pool chair made for sun ledges and tanning shelves, supplied here as a pair in white under part number RS-1-2-2PK.

Built for the ledge

It is designed for water depths up to 12 inches, which is the range most sun shelves fall in. The rotomolded shell sits stable in the water rather than floating, so it stays where you put it. S.R. Smith rates it for both residential and commercial use, and it works with any pool type.

Sun and storage

UV protection is built into the material to keep the white from going chalky through a full season of direct sun. When the season ends, or before weather comes through, the lounger drains and lifts off the ledge without a fight.

Why two

Sun shelves are usually wide enough for a pair, and buying them together keeps the color and texture consistent, which is harder to guarantee across separate orders.

How deep can the water be?

Up to 12 inches. The lounger is made for sun ledges and tanning shelves, not for the main body of the pool.
