Product details

The S.R. Smith VOLY is the Swim N' Spike pool volleyball game with a 16 ft net for pools 15 to 20 ft wide, two removable stainless steel posts, deck anchors with flush caps, a water volleyball and a needle.

What is in the set

The posts drop into two AS-100P universal plastic anchors set in the pool deck, and the net ties to stainless steel eyebolts on each post. When the game is not in use, the posts lift out and the anchor caps sit flush with the deck. S.R. Smith also lists the pieces on their own: VOLY1A for the posts, VBK-100 for the 16 ft net with volleyball and needle, and 69-209-200 for the plastic anchor kit.

Installation

The anchors are 6 in. deep sockets installed in the deck where the game will be played in shallow water, and bonded as required. Fit the eyebolts to the posts, set the posts in the anchors and tighten the wedges, then attach the net and tie off any loose rope so it is not a hazard. Put the caps back in the anchors whenever the posts come out.

Choosing a version

VOLY is the 16 ft net set. S.R. Smith sells a 20 ft net set as VOLY20 and a Salt Pool Friendly version, S-VOLY, with black posts in its SealedSteel vinyl coating. The game is meant for shallow water, and players should take off rings, watches and necklaces, which can catch in the net.
