Product details

The S.R. Smith Swim 'N Spike is a water volleyball set built for inground pools, with two commercial grade stainless steel posts, a competition quality net, a water volleyball and an inflation needle.

How it sets up

The posts drop into deck anchors at the shallow end and lift straight back out when the game is over, and the anchor caps sit flush with the deck so there is nothing left to trip over. The posts are 1.90 inches in diameter with removable stainless steel eyebolts, and the net adjusts to span a range of pool widths.

Will it fit your pool

The set is designed for shallow water areas of inground pools, with a depth that does not exceed 42 inches and a width no narrower than 15 feet and no wider than 20 feet. Measure across the shallow end before ordering.

One thing to confirm

The product information supplied for this set is not consistent about deck anchors. One description lists two flush anchor caps as included; another states that deck anchors are not included and refers to a version that has them. Check what is in the box for your order before you drill anything.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

Are the deck anchors included?
The information supplied for this set does not agree with itself. One description says two flush mount anchor caps are included, while another says deck anchors are not included and points to a version that has them. Confirm what ships with your order before you install.
What size pool does it suit?
It is made for inground pools between 15 and 20 feet wide, set up in a shallow water area where the depth does not exceed 42 inches. The net adjusts for different widths within that range.
What are the posts made of?
Two commercial grade stainless steel posts, 1.90 inches in diameter, each with a removable stainless steel eyebolt for the net.
Can the posts be taken out when we are not playing?
Yes. The posts drop into deck anchors and lift back out when you are done, and the anchors are capped flush with the deck so nothing is left sticking up.
