Product details
The S.R. Smith Typhoon is the full size slide in the rotomolded line that also includes the TurboTwister and the Cyclone. This is the right turn version in sandstone, supplied complete, and it stands 7 ft 4 in to the top of the handrails.
Built for the ride
The GrandRapids water delivery system moves up to 20 gpm down the flume, which is what makes the ride fast and keeps the surface wet from top to bottom. Water can be plumbed through the pool return line for a permanent installation, or simply connected to a garden hose.
Safety details
The ladder is enclosed rather than open runged, and the handrails are part of the molding instead of bolted on. New molded in handgrips run along the flume, which gives smaller users something to hold as they climb and settle in.
Installation and finish
The Typhoon is designed for quick assembly and a deck mounted installation. Sandstone is one of two colors in the range, the other being gray granite, so the slide can be matched to the deck it sits on.
