Why the micron rating matters
Mesh size is a trade between what the bag holds and how much water passes through it. At 140 micron this is the coarse bag in the range: it captures sand, leaf fragments, grit and moderate debris while keeping water moving, so suction stays strong on a heavy fall clean instead of dropping off as the bag loads.
Build
The mesh is black polyester, which stands up to repeated rinsing and does not show staining the way a light bag does. It is reusable, so it goes back on the vacuum after cleaning.
