The Polaris B6 is the complete sweep hose in black for Polaris Vac-Sweep pressure side cleaners. It is the genuine Polaris part.
What the sweep hose does
The sweep hose is the tail that whips behind the cleaner. Pressurized water drives it across the floor and up the walls, knocking loose the fine debris that would otherwise stay put, so the cleaner can collect it. A hose that has gone stiff, split or short stops sweeping properly and the pool starts holding a film that the cleaner used to remove.
