Product details

The Polaris D47 is a 10 foot black feed hose section for the Polaris 380 and the 280 BlackMax pressure side cleaners. It is the genuine Polaris part.

How the feed hose works

A pressure side cleaner is driven by water pushed to it from the booster pump, and the feed hose is the path that water takes. The hose is built from sections, so a single damaged length can be swapped out without replacing the whole run. That is what this part is for.

When to replace a section

Rubber hose stiffens with sun and chemical exposure. A section that has split, kinked permanently or lost its natural coil restricts flow, and the cleaner starts missing parts of the pool or wandering in a tight pattern. Replacing the bad section usually restores normal coverage.

If more than one length is past its life, the complete feed hose kit with the back-up valve is a separate part worth comparing against buying sections one at a time.
