This is a solid winter cover for a 12' round above ground pool. The cover itself measures 16' round, giving 4 ft of overlap so it can be pulled down over the top rail and cinched against the wall.
How it is made
The material is blue and black triple laminated polyethylene at 5 mil thickness, with heat sealed seams for added strength. The hem carries a sewn-in polypropylene cord for reinforcement, and aluminum grommets are set every three feet around the edge. Being a solid cover, it blocks sunlight rather than filtering it, which is what stops algae from working through the closed season.
What comes with it
A deluxe aluminum cable winch and a vinyl coated steel lock-down cable are supplied, along with the warranty card. The cable threads through the grommets and the winch takes up the slack, which is the whole securing system on an above ground pool.
