Product details

The S.R. Smith Flyte-Deck II stand in Radiant White is the base for a 6 ft diving board, part number 70-209-7362. The jig is included. The board itself is not, and is ordered separately in the matching length.

Stand, jig and board

A diving setup is three pieces that have to agree with each other. The jig is set into the deck and gives the stand a fixed, correctly spaced anchor point. The stand bolts to that. The board then mounts to the stand. Because each stand length is built for the board length it carries, a 6 ft stand belongs under a 6 ft board and nothing else.

Choosing the length

Flyte-Deck II stands come in 6 ft, 8 ft and 10 ft. The right one is decided by the pool, not by preference: board length, stand height and water depth are tied together in the diving envelope your pool was built to. If you are replacing an existing setup, match what was there. If you are specifying from scratch, work from the pool drawings.

Capacity and delivery

The Flyte-Deck II is rated to a 250 lb weight limit. The stand is heavy and awkward, so it ships by freight rather than parcel. Plan for someone to be on site to receive and inspect it.
